Is Vaultwarden as secure as Bitwarden?
Vaultwarden is an unofficial project without a formal security audit. We harden the server and keep it up to date. Where compliance requires an audit, we deploy the official Bitwarden server.
Can we bring over our existing passwords?
Yes. Exports from common password managers and browsers can be imported.
